The Fortified Farm Project was crucial to the development of HES-Mix. The huge difficulty of this high-end project was not only to deal with a 700 years old patrimony but to develop an insulation capable of resisting to water pressure of the surrounding moat.

As early as 1990, we started to develop the HES-Mix, testing different combinations of blends and conditions. It took us almost 15 years to find the final combination of minerals, pure lime and hemp hurds we use today.
